France got Euro 2016 underway with an emphatic 2-1 win over Romania last night, thanks to Dimitri Payet’s sensational strike. Today, three other games will take place, including what should be a tight affair between England and Russia.
England’s results over the las two years have been pretty hard to fault (save the Dutch friendly blip). There does however remain a nagging doubt defensively in a similar way to that cloud hanging over the French team.
Euro 2016 hosts France conceded earlier today and England may need to net twice of more to get their campaign off to a flyer.
