JDT Foundation to allow fans to own a part of club

Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) is offering their loyal supporters the chance of a lifetime to own a certain part of the club when the ‘JDT Foundation’ is officially launched in September.

Foundation chairman Datuk Ir. Hasni Mohammad said that the initiative will be carried out to allow the fans the chance to be a part of the club as well as to organize social activities.

“The concept of this Foundation is similar to those in clubs such as Valencia and Barcelona, but we are still work in progress,” Hasni Mohammad said as quoted by Utusan Malaysia.

“This will allow our fans to voice their concerns and play a part in the club’s decision making.

The Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim, may be the sole owner of The Southern Tigers but he is giving this great chance to the fans to own the club alongside him.

Hasni Mohammad added that RM1.5 million have been donated by various parties.
