Datuk K. Rajagopal has been replaced as head coach of the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) by his assistant David Usop after failing to mark his mark since the season kicked off.
The association gave the management committee the authority to reshuffle the coaching team and handed the responsibility to David Usop for the remaining games of the season.
“David Usop will have a lot of time to prepare the team before they face Perak twice on May 18 in Kuching and three days later in Ipoh,” the FAS stated as quoted by Sinar Harian.
“The decision was made because of Sarawak’s poor run of results in the Super League.
Bojan Hodak was reportedly on the radar to replace K. Rajagopal as head coach of Sarawak.
Sarawak are currently in last place after collecting four points from ten matches.
