Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Ñíguez Esclápez helped his team put one foot in the final when he dribbled five Bayern Munich players and calmly placed the ball past Manuel Neuer.
The 21 year-old player has been an integral part of Diego Simeone’s team since joining the first team after leaving on loan to Rayo Vallecano a few years ago. He is a hard-working central midfielder and is always in the midst of winning aerial duels and challenges. However, he is not known for scoring many goals throughout his career, but he will definitely cherish scoring the only goal against one of the world’s best goalkeepers at the Vicente Calderon.
