Man of the Match: FELDA United 4-0 PDRM

Can anyone stop FELDA United?

The Fighters have been in fine form lately and now have extended their winning run in the Malaysia Super League (MSL) to four games after defeating PDRM 4-0 earlier tonight.

The likes of Francis Forkey Doe, Zah Rahan Krangar, Muhd Hadin Azman and D. Christie Jayaseelan impressed Irfan Bakti and co. tonight with great attacking performances. FELDA United captain Shukor Adan also got into the thick of the action when he intercepted the ball from the halfway line and bombed forward to support his teammates.

However, only one man stood tall throughout the match and his name is Lutfulla Turaev.

The Uzbekistan international literally covered every inch of the Tunku Abdul Razak pitch. He was involved in defensive duties as well as provided a helping hand when the team attacked.

As well as attempting five shots (4 on target, 1 off target) during the match, Lutfulla Turaev scored the second goal of the night through a brilliant free-kick on the 27th minute. A few minutes before full-time, he popped out of nowhere to head home Ridzuan Abdunloh’s cross to score his second and FELDA United’s third goal to cap off a perfect day for the Uzbek.

Lutfulla Turaev also played provider when he assisted Forkey Doe to score the final goal.

FELDA United extended their lead at the top of the league to 21 points, one point ahead of Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT), who destroyed Sarawak 5-2 at the Larkin Stadium tonight.
