The national dodgeball team made the country proud when they came in second place at the inaugural Dodgeball World Cup (DWC) after losing 14-3 to host nation England at the National Basketball Arena in Belle Vue Sports Village in Manchester, England earlier today.
Malaysia struggled to cope with the strength and pace of the English but they never gave up.
The team qualified for the final after valiantly beating Wales 10-9 in the semi-final last night. This was after the Malaysian dodgeball squad tore Egypt apart 14-1 in the last eight, after defeating United States 11-7, Scotland 14-5 and Northern Ireland 8-7 in group stages.
The Dodgeball World Cup consisted of eight countries from five continents and was held from April 15-16 Host nation England are the winners of the inaugural championships.
