“The only goalkeeper in our top 20 to have never played in Europe. However, that doesn’t mean the achievements of Hassan Sunny – who has represented Singapore more than 80 times at international level – should be ignored. Recovered from an uncharacteristic howler in the AAF Championship final against Malaysia to reassert himself as one the finest Asian talents with a superb 2015,” an excerpt from the article read.

Hassan has amassed approximately 80 caps for the Singaporean national team, and spent almost all his career playing in the S.League, before making the move to Thailand in 2015.

He started his career with Geylang United in 2003, before moving to the Young Lions one year later. He returned to Geyland for a brief stint and eventually spent four years with Tampines Rovers. In 2012, Hassan joined Warriors FC, protecting their goal for three years before joining Army United.
