14 former players of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) will feel relived after it was confirmed that the club would be settling all the unpaid salaries from 2015.
Secretary-General of FAM, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin confirmed the statement yesterday; saying that all 14 personnels, including ex-head coach B. Sathianathan will receive their payments soon.
But according to him though, there’s a minor twist. The players will first receive their payments, while Sathianathan will receive his on another date. This is due to the ongoing investigation on every individual’s Employees’ Provident Fund (KWSP) details.
“We are now on the verge of processing the payment for 14 former ATM players. It should be completed next week. We will credit the payment into their accounts,” Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin told Berita Harian.
“We are still waiting for information from ATM regarding a former player and Sathianathan and it will be settled once we acquire all the details,” he added.
