National bowler Natasha Roslan managed to made a great comeback this year by securing the ultimate gold medal in the women’s individual event during the 29th Inter-state Bowling Championship yesterday.
Natasha could only bag a silver medal last year whereas the gold medal was handed to Sharon Koh.
The 20 year-old Selangor-born bowler, who made it to the national squad three years ago, accumulated a total of 1,394 points with an extra of 91 pins to clinch the overall victory in Sunway Mega Lanes.
Fellow state native Victoria Chin collected a total of 1,303 points to claim the silver ,deal whereas Kuala Lumpur’s Nud Syazwani Sahar was given the bronze after a total of 1,274 points.
“I really did not expect this victory as I got the silver medal last year. Maybe it’s because the other bowlers weren’t playing as well as they could and I took advantage of that to climb all the way to the top,” she told reporters as quoted from Bernama.
