D’Herbs Healthy Sdn Bhd founder Datuk Aliff Syukri Kamarzaman wants Kedah to be his first sponsored football team as soon as he come to terms with Kedah Football Association (KFA).
The 29 year-old was invited to watch the Malaysia Super League (MSL) match between Kedah and Kelantan yesterday night at the Darul Aman Stadium, where the home side ended up winning 2-1 courtesy of goals from Carlos Kahe and Syafiq Ahmad.
Aliff Syukri was thrilled with the spirit displayed by The Red Hawks and their fans, and is 99.9% certain of sponsoring the 2015 Premier League (MPL) champions as soon as possible.
“I watched Kedah play and not only are they beautiful to watch, but they also have a great history in football,” the founder of D’Herbs said after the game, as quoted by Sinar Harian.
“Prior to this, negotiations with KFA were disrupted due to a little political conflicts.
“However, as for now, they are the best team and the discussions are still ongoing. There are a few things left on the table before both parties come to an agreement,” he added.
A while ago, Aliff Syukri met with ex-Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir to discuss sponsorship details for The Red Hawks. Nonetheless, he has held talks with new Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Hanipah to improve the development of KFA.
