“I am open to MSL return” – Ex-JDT boss Bojan Hodak

Croatian coach Bojan Hodak admitted that he was approached by a M-League club a few days ago but has denied the rumours linking him with a return to his former club, Kelantan.

The ex-Johor Darul Ta’azim (JDT) coach said that there has been no conversation with the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) which involves him returning to the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium. He believes that it is only speculation linking him as K. Devan’s replacement.

“I am completely unaware of this story because no one contacted me. This surprises me as Kelantan is doing well after two wins and one draw,” Hodak said as quoted by Harian Metro.

Speculation had mounted on the Pamago Qu Puteh The Red Warriors (PQPTRW) camp after a couple of fans of social media claimed that K. Devan will be replaced by ex-Kelantan coach Bojan Hojak due to the disatisfaction in the team’s performances.

However, the two-time Malaysian Super League (MSL) winner was reportedly saying that he would be willing to return to the MSL if he receives a good offer.

“I was contacted by a MSL team on Monday, but I do not want to reveal which club was it at the moment. Before this, I was focusing on getting the national team job but was unsuccessful in doing so. Now, I am prepared to discuss with any team.

“If I receive an interesting offer, I will consider accepting it,” he added.
