Datuk Lee Chong Wei is still the second best badminton player in the world, after the Badminton World Federation (BWF) released the latest rankings yesterday.
Chong Wei is ranked second as he successfully collected 77153 points, while Chen Long of China is dominating the top spot with a grand total of 96931 points.
Jan O Jorgensen behind Lee Chong Wei with 75967 points, followed by South Korea’s Kento Momota with 74853 points.
Former World No. 1 and two-time Olympic champion Lin Dan is in fifth place with 74277 points.
Lee Chong Wei returned to the action in May last year after he was banned for eight months for doping, which ultimately saw his ranking plummet.
