Financial injection to boost Perak FA squad?

The Football Association of Perak (PAFA) will be receiving a sponsorship of RM7.8 million from 44 agencies and companies in Perak to strengthen their cause to compete in the 2016 Super League.

Lembaga Air Perak (LAP) and PKNP were two of the major investors after sponsoring RM3 million and RM500,000 respectively.

The President of PAFA, Datuk Seri Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan reportedly said that the funds received by numerous organizations will act as an inspiration to the Perak football team so that they can strive further to achieve success this season.

“The Perak football team will always work hard to improve the quality of their game, especially in the face of the upcoming Super League season,” the President of PAFA said as reported by Sinar Harian.

The 22 registered players for were introduced during the banquet dinner on Sunday night. This included the new foreign players, which were Vokhid Shodiev and Elias Fernandes.

PAFA also unveiled their new kit, which displayed the state colours of black and yellow, that will be donned by the team in the new season.
