Chief Executive Officer of the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) Datuk Razlan Razali has high hopes of seeing Zulfahmi Khairuddin deliver a sterling performance throughout this season’s World Super Bike Championship (WSBK) in order to get back on track in the World Motocycling Championship (MotoGP).
Razlan claimed that Zulfahmi may have to step up his game to produce greater improvements and not repeat his disappointing performance from last season.
“This is the best time for him to get back to his real performance after presenting a stale performance in the last two seasons of the Moto3 racing,” said Razlan as quoted from Harian Metro.
“If he performs well, there’s a bright chance for him to get back on the MotoGP, especially in Moto2.”
“WSBK is actually a springboard for him to take part in the Moto2 if he makes good use of this opportunity.”
Meanwhile, Zulfahmi – competing under Orelac Racing this year – admitted to his deterioration and vows to put forward a much more professional attitude in the 2016 WSBK.
“I realize that everything is a little new for me. But I need to take up new challenges.”
“I have to thank SIC for giving me an opportunity to continue with my career.”
