Jamie Vardy just can’t stop scoring, can he?
The Leicester man has been in imperious form for Leicester this season, scoring 12 goals in 10 games thus far. In fact, that’s exactly the statistic that made Ruud van Nistelrooy a record holder all this while. But last week, Vardy jumped on the bandwagon by equalling the record.
Much of the pre-Man United match talk revolved around Vardy’s ability to claim the record as his own and there were plenty of doubts – considering that he’d be going up against the likes of Chris Smalling.
Vardy though, was completely unfazed. 24 minutes into the game, the 28 year-old latched onto a terrific through ball from Christian Fuchs, before firing past De Gea to send the home crowd absolutely wild!
