The Johor DT squad are on their way to Tajikistan – where the AFC Cup final between them and Istiklol FC is set to take place this weekend.
The Southern Tigers returned from Kuching after their 3-0 win over Sarawak last weekend, and they travelled across the causeway earlier today, to board the flight from Singapore to Dubai, before eventually heading to Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
JDT are the first Southeast Asian as well as Malaysian side to have ever progressed into the AFC Cup final. The final will take place at the Pamir Stadium on the 31st of October, with kick-off slated for 8.00PM Malaysian time.
