Terengganu forward Manaf Mamat is determined to continue scoring goals after finally ending his drought during their FA Cup victory over Melaka United last weekend.
The 27 year-old forward has consistently been an influential player for the Turtles, but his contribution in terms of goals, hasn’t exactly been impressive, though he is now keen to change that.
“After ending the goal-scoring drought, I’m now keen on finding the back of the net more regularly, starting this weekend,” he told Harian Metro.
“More importantly though, I’m just determined to see us notch our third victory of the season. But having scored against Melaka United, I’m just determined to keep that going as well.”
Abdul Rahman Ibrahim’s men will be taking on ATM this weekend, and while their opponents have had a disastrous start to the season, Manaf is certainly not ready to underestimate their capabilities.
“We need to be careful. But as long as we stick to our game plan and perform together as a team, I’m confident of us being able to seize victory, especially since we’re playing at home.
