PDRM unfazed by Kelantan’s good form

Kelantan will be hosting PDRM in what should be an enthralling affair this weekend and while the home side will certainly go into this one as favourites, PDRM are determined to seize three points on the day.

The Red Warriors are currently topping the MSL table after winning their first two games, while The Cops bounced back from their opening day defeat to  LionsXII by defeating reigning champions Johor DT last weekend.

But ahead of this weekend’s clash, PDRM team manager Mubin Mokhtar did concede that George Boateng’s men will be favourites to clinch the win, though that will not discourage them from giving their best on the day.

“We are coming to the fortress of our opponent, they will obviously be favourites for this one,” he told Harian Metro.

“Kelantan have won their first two games and they are on top of the league table, but we will do our best to prepare for the match.”

Mubin also went on to heap praises on their foreign signings for this year, particularly Dramane Traore, who is currently topping the goalscoring charts after his hat-rick against LionsXII in their first game.

“Dramane Traore has been playing really well thus far. I’ve been very satisfied with attitude and performances. In fact, everyone in the team has been equally consistent in the first two games,” he added.
