Hariss Harun calls for focus ahead of Selangor cruncher

Johor DT midfielder Hariss Harun is hoping to see his teammates move on from their last two defeats and be focused on the monumental Super League clash against Selangor this weekend.

The Souther Tigers started the season well, beating Pahang in the Charity Shield before securing a continental win over Bengaluru FC. However, they went on to lose against Bangkok Glass FC, before suffering a frustrating 1-0 defeat at the hands of PDRM last week.

They are currently fifth on the Super League table with three points, and Hariss is determined to see that tally increase at the end of this week, when they take on arch rivals, Selangor FA.

“I hope everyone in the team has moved on from the fact that we’ve lost our last two games,” he told Harian Metro.

“Never mind the fact that we lost two games, we also won two important games before that. For me, that’s enough to motivate myself ahead of this weekend.

Selangor themselves will be looking to get their Super League campaign back on track, having only picked up one point in the first two games of the season.
