Perak FA head coach Datuk M. Karathu has urged his players to keep their momentum going when they take on ATM this weekend.
The Seladangs opened their Super League campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over Sime Darby last week, but Coach Karathu is wary of ATM, claiming that they will be eager to bounce back following their defeat to Kelantan.
“Our players need to be ready for this clash. After losing the first game, ATM will certainly be plotting to get their season back on track, so we’ll need to have a strong strategy to take them down,” he told Harian Metro.
However, the ex-Kelantan coach isn’t entirely happy with the contribution of all his foreign players, claiming that only Thiago Junior has justified his inclusion in the team and that the likes of Chad Souza and even Namkung Woong, who scored last week, need to work harder.
“As of now, only Thiago has impressed me. He has justified his worth to the team. But Chad Souza and Namkung Woong need to work harder in the upcoming games,” he added.
