Hassan Chaito leaves Terengganu

Terengganu FA have announced that Lebanese playmaker Hassan Chaito has agreed to mutually terminate his contract, thus ending his short tenure with the Turtles.

Chaito was signed up during the off-season and he impressed during pre-season friendlies before picking up an injury. However, extensive tests have revealed that his injury is likely to be a long-term one.

Considering that he was only on a one-year contract, the Terengganu FA management spoke with him thoroughly before mutually agreeing to part ways.

A statement on their official website read: “The Terengganu Football Association (PBSNT) announced today they have parted company with Lebanese forward, Hassan Chaito after both parties have agreed to mutually terminate their contract.”

“We wish Hassan well in his future undertakings.”

As a result, the Turtles will compete in the league with only three foreign players until the April transfer window opens, where they are expected to bring in a replacement for Hassan.
