Kelantan FA midfielder Brendan Gan has vowed to battle through his injury and come out of it stronger after it was confirmed that he would be out for the next eight months.
The former Sabah player picked up an injury just minutes after coming on against ATM last weekend and after undergoing tests over the last two days, it was confirmed that he picked up a severe ACL injury that will almost certainly rule him out for the rest of the season.
Brendan is certainly gutted with the news, but he is determined to remain positive and focus on his recovery, besides adding that he will continue to support the Red Warriors from the sidelines.
“It hurts to leave the boys when we have built an incredible team to fight for trophies,” Brendan Gan told FourthOfficial.com
“Absolutely devastated to have picked up this injury. As a player, you rely on your body being 100% so you can perform at your peak to give back to the team and the fantastic fans.
“I’ll be back stronger than ever to help fight with the team in the near future. I will supporting the boys in their quest for success and will wish TRW the best for this season as I know they will do fantastic without me there,” he added.
Brendan Gan has a two-year contract with the Red Warriors and according a source, they are committed towards aiding his recovery process and they have no intentions of mutually terminating his contract.
