Force India puts Marussia’s Formula One return at risk

Marussia’s plans of returning to Formula 1 is at risk after Force India voted against their request to use last year’s car.

They have been in administration since last October due to financial struggles, and it caused them to miss their last three races of the season. However, they are due to come out of it on the 19th of February and they were also planning to make a return to the racing scene.

However, due to time constraints, Marussia proposed the idea of them using last year’s car and most teams agreed unanimously except for Force India, as they voted against the request.

Formula One officials are set to discuss the matter later this month and a decision will certainly be made before the Australian GP in March.
