Dato’ Seri Subahan Kamal is set to enter the race to compete for the Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) presidency post.
He is currently the president of the Selangor Hockey Association (SHA), and has already received one nomination from them ahead of the Annual General Meeting.
“Selangor Hockey unanimously nominates Dato’ Sri Subahan Kamal for the post of President at the upcoming MHC AGM,” said in a statement on their official Facebook page.
“it is our hope and belief that hockey lovers and administrators support our nomination and join us in taking Hockey to the next level. We all have to work together to make it happen.”
Dato’ Subahan will now need two more nominations from the members of MHC as the election requirements necessitates at least three nominations to be considered an official candidate
Those two additional nominations need to come in by Monday, ahead of the closing date for nominations.
Meanwhile, the decision of the nominations from the SHA has to be done by Monday before the closing date.
