Gary’s absence won’t deter us – Johor DT’s Bojan Hodak

Johor DT head coach Bojan Hodak believes that the absence of Gary Steven Robbat will not hinder his squad’s ability to maximize their potential and do well when the Malaysia Super League gets underway.

Gary was slapped with a three months suspension by FAM recently, for the contractual fiasco involving Pahang, and he has also been barred from training with any team for the exact period of time.

Bojan claims that preparations have been made for Gary to train alone, using the facilities available with Johor, though his inability will not affect the squad directly.

“It seems that Gary will be training alone for the next three months and I will be supporting him. I was also told that he would be appealing FAM’s decision so lets see how that turns out,” he told Harian Metro.

“Either way, our preparations for the new season is not affected by the entire issue involving Gary. I started making preparations as soon as it was announced that he would be suspended, so the squad is fine.”
