Merely 10 days ago, the entire footballing fraternity received a shocking news when it was discovered that Wolfsburg starlet Junior Malanda had passed away in a car crash.
The 20 year-old Belgian was scheduled to fly off for a winter training camp in the evening but was unfortunately pronounced dead by medical officers upon arrival at the scene of the accident.
The entire tragedy left plenty of scars of members of the Wolfsburg family, with Nadine Kessler, who won the FIFA Women’s Player of the Year award, paying tribute to Malanda during the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The Bundesliga has also hopped onto the tribute bandwagon, releasing an emotional video, in remembrance of the 20 year-old midfielder, who won the hearts of many with his exemplary performances on the pitch.
