Former world number one golfer Tiger Woods lost his front tooth while watching girlfriend Lindsey Vonn clinch her 63rd World Cup Alpine ski win.
Woods was in Italy for a surprise visit to catch his girlfriend in action, but he was unfortunately hit in the face by a video camera, knocking him out besides breaking his front tooth.
“During a crush of photographers at the awards’ podium, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth,” his agent Mark Steinberg told the BBC.
“Woods’s tooth was knocked out by the incident.”
That being said, Woods, who has been participating in limited amount of tournaments due to a back injury, will be making his season debut at the upcoming Phoenix Open.
Starting my year off at Phoenix & Torrey back-to-back weeks. I’m ready to go. Should be a lot of fun. http://t.co/sRnFLf6NvM
