Denmark dominated two paired events by clinching the mixed doubles and women’s doubles title at the 2015 Yonex Sunrise Malaysia Masters.
Denmark’s women’s doubles pair Christinna Pederson and Kamilla Ryther lifted the women’s doubles title after outclassing Japan’s Naoko Fukuman and Kurumi Yanao with a 21-14, 21-4 straight win in just 46 minutes.
At the same time, Denmark’s mixed doubles team that is inclusive of Joachim Fischer Niesen and Christinna Pedersen eased past Indonesia’s Praveen Jordon and Debby Susanto in the finals with a 21-18, 21-18 win.
In the men’s doubles, Japan’s Kenta Kazuno and Kazushi dominated the competition by defeating Taiwan’s No.8 seeds Chen Hung Ling and Wang Chi-Lin with a 21-19, 14-21, 21-17 win.
Malaysia though, did not manage to go any further than the quarter finals after losing to Taiwan’s Chen Hung Ling and Wang Chi-lin with a 19-21, 21-11, 25-23 defeat.
