Mercedes chief Toto Wolff claims that Ferrari should not be written off just yet as they could be major contenders in 2015.
Ferrari have struggled in recent times and 2014 was equally frustrating for them as well; not being able to even secure a single race victory. The Italian giants only managed to claim two podium spots, finishing the season on fourth place, as far as the Constructors’ Championship was concerned.
But according to Toto Wolff, Ferrari could be massive contenders in 2015, particularly with the addition of Sebastian Vettel to their roster.
“Sebastian brings four World titles, enthusiasm and experience. It will be an incentive for the people of the incredible Ferrari.” says Mercedes chief Toto Wolff.
“Never write them off. Ferrari is an icon and it’s important for them to be able to win again as soon as possible. I am convinced they will return to being competitive, and maybe as early as 2015.”
Vettel will be spearheading Ferrari’s bid to do well, alongside the iconic Kimi Raikkonen as they seek to head on a trajectory of revival.
