Shaharuddin remains coy on new Pahang FA squad

Pahang FA’s new head coact Ahmad Shaharuddin Rosli is refusing to drop hints on how the squad could look like for next year’s Malaysia Super League campaign.

There has been a mass exodus of individuals within Pahang over the last two weeks, with the likes of Azamuddin Akil, Hafiz Kamal and even Gopinathan joining Zainal Abidin Hassan by leaving the club.

Even the likes of Matias Conti and Damion Stewart have been released, prompting plenty of curiosity amongst the Pahang fanbase. But Shaharuddin’s only response was to urge the fans to be patient and that the new squad will be unveiled soon.

“All I can say at this point is that we’re working hard to get good players to strengthen our team next year,” he told Harian Metro.

“I hope the fans can remain patient and hopefully we’ll be able to release the full list by early January. And I also hope that the final list of players will be extremely committed to the team,” he added.

Some of the big names that have been retained are D. Saarvindran, Fauzi Roslan, Nasril Nourdin as well as Saiful Nizam.
