After six years of racing in the Moto3 World Motorcycle Championship, Malaysian motorcyclist Zulfahmi Khairuddin could be progressing further to compete in the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) next year.
Negotiations with foreign teams have been taken place and the ultimate decision will only be announced after discussions of the objectives have been finalized.
“I will be racing in the WSBK next year but nothing is yet to be official. Nevertheless, that is the path I will be heading,” said the 24 year-old as quoted from Berita Harian.
“I can’t take a breather right now because we still have to discuss about the objectives and the team’s plan.”
“Everything is still under negotiation.”
“For now I’m doing more of physical trainings because the motorcycles will be bigger, so I have to work on that angle.”
“I want to do the best and whatever that is going to happen will be a new experience for me and I don’t want to underestimate the competition.”
