Perak FA have confirmed the signing of two local players in the form of Shahrul Saad as well as Fazrul Hazli ahead of next year’s Malaysia Super League.
The Seladangs have been tinkering with their squad to add more depth, while at the same time preserve the youthful spirit that has been the backbone of the club for the past few years. And the arrival of both men certainly fits their bill as well.
Fazrul Hazli previously played for Perak, before leaving for Sime Darby in 2013. He spent two years there, before featuring for ATM this season.
Shahrul on the other hand, is a highly-rated defender, who was part of the Harimau Muda set-up for the past few years. He went on to join Felda United at the beginning of this year and became a regular fixture at the heart of their defence.
His impressive performances have led to recent national call-ups and he’s widely regarded as one of the best young center-backs within the country.
He will now be joining a Perak squad that is being spearheaded by his elder brother Shamsul Saad, who was appointed as head coach one month ago.
