Arsenal kept theor good momentum going by sealing a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Manchester City at the Emirates last night, and it was certainly a night of excellent goals.
Theo Walcott opened the scoring with a sensational strike from the edge of the box, leaving Joe Hart helpess en route to hitting the back of the net. Olivier Giroud then provided a touch of class by firing a grounded shot into the back of the net to make it 2-0 just before the break.
But the goal of the game visibly came late in the second half. Just when it looked like Arsenal were going to keep a clean sheet and seal a valuable win, Yaya Toure produced an outrageous moment that virtually left every Arsenal player standing still.
