Selangor FA have made a U-turn on their decision to release Rob Cornthwaite after it was confirmed that the Australian defender has signed a new deal with the Red Giants.
Rob released the news on Twitter as Selangor also finalized the arrival of four new players from Pahang.

The ex-Adelaide United man will now remain with Selangor for the 2016 campaign of Malaysian football, meaning that his formidable partnership with Shahrom Kalam is set to continue.
This comes after massive pressure from their own fans, with many of them taking to social media to express their frustration at knowing that Cornthwaite had been released, prior to this.
