Malaysia and Argentina played out an entertaining 2-2 draw on the second day of the Sultan Johor Cup at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in JB.
Arul Selvaraj’s boys took the lead twice, but were unable to defend on both occassions, as they conceded twice to the resilient Argentina.
Shahril Saabah gave Malaysia a flying start by converting a penalty corner on the 6th minute but Tomas Domene equalised for Argentina through another penalty corner o the 27th minute.
Malaysia restored their lead through Shahril Saabah again on the 32nd minute and led Argentina 2-1 just before the half time.
However, Domene once again proved to be an absolute menace to the visitors as he scored a penalty corner on the 61st minute, forcing Malaysia to extend the search for their first win of the competition.
