Iskandar Zulkarnain wins Polish Open title

Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin won only his second international title yesterday, after clinching the Polish International Challenge title in Bierun.

The 24 year-old defeated Danish shuttler Anders Antonsen 21-12 21-18 in the men singles final.

It was the Johor-born shuttler’s first international title, after the Singapore International Series in August.

Meanwhile, Ho Yen Mei overcame her compatriot Lim Chiew Sien in an all Malaysian women’s singles final.

Yen Mei won 21-16 21-12 over her national teammate, which also saw 15 year-old Goh Jin Wei in the mix, although she lost to Chloe Birch from England in the quarter finals.
