National go-kart sensation Muizzuddin Musyaffa Abdul Gafar is expected to spring few surprises as he makes his debut in the CIK-FIA World Kart Championships in Italy, next week.
Muizz, 13, admits the prestigious race is a huge challenge for him because he has to compete with other 103 experienced drivers.
However, he believes that his participation in the KF Youth Category European Championships earlier this year, is the best confidence boost ahead of the race.
“It’s an enormous opportunity for me to compete in this competition after such a long time, and I certainly intend to give it my best,” he told Arena Metro.
Muizz created history when he won the overall title in World Kart Championship Series as well as emerging runner up in the WSK Master Series last year.
His triumph got him the Best Young Athlete Award for the year 2014.
