The Malaysian squash team has made the nation proud by winning gold medals in both the men and women singles category at the 5th edition of Commonwealth Youth Games, currently being held in Samoa.
National squash players S. Sivasangari, 16, and Ng Eain Yow, 17, were labelled favorites to bring home gold, as squash made its debut in one of the 9 sports featured in the competition.
And they certainly did not disappoint as Sivasangari claimed the first of the double in the women’s singles final.
