This was always inevitable.
BAM are now hunting after five new coaches to strengthen the senior team as well as the shuttlers attached to the Bukit Jalil Sports School.
It doesn’t come as a surprise, considering that several high profile coaches have left this year, including Rashid Sidek and Tan Kim Her.
But while Frost did concede that they are looking for new individuals, he remained defiant on rumours of a crisis within BAM, claiming that it’s normal for organizations to go through this situation.
“This situation is normal, it happens all the time, when you’re trying to make a change. Some coaches want to try something new, and some of them leave,” he said as quoted by Harian Metro.
“I got the approval last week. So in the next few months, we will find three coaches to be stationed with the sports school and two more to be with the senior team. I have a shortlist as well.
“This procedure will go on till the end of the year, as it’s not easy to replace five head coaches,” he added.
