Tottenham Hotspur has just announced the signing of forward Heung-Min Son from German giants Bayer Leverkusen.

The South Korea international has signed a five-year deal with the Premier League side, subject to a work permit and international clearance.

“I’m a player who really loves football. I learned the game under my father who was a football coach in my school. So I’m looking forward to going there & performing for the Spurs fans as soon as possible,” he told the club’s official website.

Son started his Bundesliga journey with Hamburg as a 16-year-old, before Leverkusen signed him for a club record in 2013.

The 23-year-old has since then made 87 appearances and scored 29 goals for Leverkusen prior to his move to White Hart Lane.
