Khairul Idham is an ecstatic teenager right now after he was handed a dream opportunity of making his debut in the World Moto3 GP next month.
The young rider has been absolutely impressive in the World Junior Moto3 Championships this year, claiming three podium finishes from the first six races of the season. He even finished second at Le Mans and currently occupies third spot on the overall standings, with 80 points.
As a result, he has now been drafted to make his debut at the Motorland Circuit in Aragon, Spain, on the 27th of September.
“Honda have given this wildcard chance and I’ll be doing all I can to make full use of it,” he told Harian Metro.
“I’m certainly thankful to them for placing their trust in me,” he added.
