Terry Walsh was recently appointed as the new Technical Director MHC, though the organization in itself remains on the scope of his job.
The experienced Terry is currently working on appointing a coaching team for the national squad, though MHC President Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal claims that his job will entail far bigger tasks as well.
“His job is quite thorough. If you want to know more, you’ve got to wait till September,” he told Harian Metro.
“Definitely, one of his KPI’s would be to ensure that we push Malaysian hockey into the Top 10 zone. But his tasks will be in line with a greater action plan for the development of the sport as well.
“I hope our action plan is something like the one we have for football as well,” he added.
His response though, does very little to squash recent accusations that were made by several parties, including former MHC secretary, Maninderjit Singh, who questioned the direction of MHC for the next few years.
