There is no other choice for Harimau Malaya squad than winning their remaining two matches in Group A of 2018 World Cup/ 2019 Asia qualification.
Malaysia will face United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Mohammad Bin Zayed stadium, Abu Dhabi on September 3, and followed by a match against Saudi Arabia at Stadium Shah Alam, 8th September.
President of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad said players and formations will be decided by the head coach himself, Dollah Salleh.
“It will be the end for the national team if they do not win. I have discussed with him (Dollah) about the choice of players after the AFF Suzuki Cup earlier this year, but I have not updated the matter till now,” the FAM president told Berita Harian.
The Harimau Malaya squad currently occupy the last spot out of four teams in Group A, with only one point after a draw and a lost.
