PDRM have seized third spot on the league table after sealing a narrow 1-0 win over Felda United at the Shah Alam Stadium yesterday.
Having won their last two games against Perak and Sarawak, the home side went into this game on positive mode, and that translated into them controlling the tempo of the game as well.
Their early pressure resulted in them seizing an early lead as well, as Dramane Traore headed home from close range to put PDRM 1-0 up.
Despite Felda’s best efforts to bounce back, PDRM almost doubled their lead on the 36th minute, though Ali Ashfaq’s attempt was brilliantly tipped away to safety by Farizan Harun.
Irfan Bakti’s men increased their tempo after the break, but PDRM switched into defensive mode as they held on to secure their third successive win to move into third spot, behind Pahang and league leaders, Johor DT.
