Nora Lyana Nastasia Norkamal will be among the most experience member of the girls’ bowling team as Malaysia will look forward in winning medals at the 2015 Asian Schools Tenpin Bowling Championship which will be held at the South China Athletics Association (SCAA) Bowling Centre in Hong Kong.

Nora Lyana, who won the Thailand International Open bowling championships and Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships among other achievements in a impressive CV, will be looking to make her presence felt along with her teammates in the tournament, which will take place tomorrow.

Honorary Secretary-General of Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Association (MTBC) Cheah Ban Cheng said that Malaysia will head into the tournament with a competitive and aspiring team and has high hopes on them, especially the girls’ team.

“National Youth Chief Coach Purvis Granger is happy with the preparation of the team and is confident that Team Malaysia will deliver medals in this championship,” Cheah said in a statement.

“Our girls team has experience as all of them have been involved in the Asian Youth and World Youth championships in the past. However, the boys team is rather inexperienced as only Christopher Tiong has competed in Asian Youth. Nonetheless, the team is in high spirits, and motivated to perform well,”
