Deputy president of Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), Datuk Seri Mohamad Norza Zakaria has voiced out his opinion on the exit of Tan Kim Her, stating that he has made a good decision for himself.
According to India Today’s news portal on Friday, mixed doubles coach Kim Her has signed a five-year contract with Badminton Association of India (BAI), which will see him take charge of their men’s doubles team.
Mohamad Norza said his side will not be in the way of Kim Her expanding his career as he was already getting high offers from other countries.
We wish him the best of luck in seeking greener pastures,” he told Utusan when met at his Aidilfitri open house yesterday.
Kim Her, 44, will be the third coach to step out from BAM, following the footsteps of Rashid Sidek and Rosman Razak.
Meanwhile, the BAM deputy president added that there will be an executive meeting carried out together with technical director Morten Frost, to discuss a replacement for Kim Her.
