Katrina Ann Abdul Hadi is confident that the national team can secure their first gold medal for Malaysia in the synchronized swimming event at the upcoming SEA Games.
The team has set their hopes on Katrina and her partner Lee Hying Huey to bag the gold as they have produced astounding performances in recent tournaments.
“The main challenge is definitely the Singaporean athletes, but we know how to handle them,” said Katrina as quoted from Utusan.
“At the same time we have improved the difficulties in this routine to ensure more points.”
“However, we need to make sure that every movement is always synchronized and performed neatly.”
The squad is currently aiming for at least one gold medal in the three events that they would be contesting in.
