Diving World Series: Pandelela claims bronze medal

National diving sensation Pandelela Rinong successfully won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m platform at the World Series Diving Dhampionships in Windsor, Canada.

Pandelela managed to produce a good dive and amassed a total of 371.25 points to seal the win, behind Si Yiajie of China, who took the silver medal with 377.90 points. The ultimate gold medal was given to Ren Qian of China who collected 429.35 points.

She produced a faultless display in the first jump where she bagged 76.50 points. She remained consistent and took 73.95 points in the second jump, followed by 76.80 points in the third jump and 72.00 points in both the fourth and fifth jump.

The competition took place in the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre.
