NBA Playoffs: Curry-inspired GSW seal close win over Rockets

Golden State Warriors’ MVP, Stephen Curry stunned the whole crowed after bludgeoning the Houston Rockets in the Eastern Conference finals.

The point guard served up 34 points in the game, inspiring the team to a close yet remarkable win of 110- 106 as a conclusion of Game 1.

Curry took on 34 points en route to making 13 out of 22 shots from the field. The 27 year-old also bagged six three-pointers apart from five assists, six rebounds and two steals. The Rockets initially took on a 16 points lead in the second quarter but was overcome by the Warriors with a 58-55 as a halftime lead.

Curry, who broke his own record with 286 three pointers in the regular season, proved his excellence once again during the game. With 11 shots and 6 successes, he completely overshadowed MVP nominee James Harden.

Harden, who averaged 28 point, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals, was not enough for the Charlotte brewed point guard.

The stakes are high, as far as the Warriors’ dreams of making the final is concerned, and should they make the final, it would be their first appearance in over 40 years.

Game 2 between the Warriors and Rockets will take place today at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
