National Moto2 racer, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah proved his excellent skill set once again as he managed to finish in the top 10 in the French Grand Prix yesterday.
Hafizh, racing under Petronas Raceline Malaysia, started 13th on the grid and ended his run at a sterling ninth place ahead of Swiss Dominique Aegerter with a record of 42m 46.254s in the Le Mans circuit.
The victory allowed Hafizh to bag another seven points and granted him tenth place in the Moto2 racer’s standings.
Thomas Luthi, who represented Derendinger Racing Interwetten was the ultimate champion of the race, with the fastest record of 42m 27. 011s whereas defending champion Tito Rabat stood at second followed by Johann Zarco of Ajo Motosport at third.
Two other Malaysians also produced great performances in the Moto2 race. Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman of Honda Team Asia ended at 19th whereas Zaqhwan Zaidi of JPMoto Malaysia took on 25th.
